After Bobby replaced the part, we drove over to my mom's house and hung out with everyone. I was happy to pick up my mail! I still use my mom's address even though I live at Bobby's so I only pick up my mail about once/twice a week. Bobby and I went through my mom's shed while we were over there because almost everything I own is still in boxes (from when we moved out of our apartment in July 2009!) in there. So I took the rest of my mail supplies and other crap I hoard back to Bobby's. Also received my replacement social security card in the mail along with all the nice mail.
Tomorrow Bobby and I are going over to my old high school because my niece has a track meet over there. I am pretty excited to, hopefully, see all my old teachers. I went to that high school for 10th and part of 11th grade. My 10th grade year was by far the best time I had in school, every teacher I had was amazing and, even though I was a complete loner, I had a lot of fun. 11th grade was a huge disappointment after such an amazing year so I dropped out a few months in and completed the rest of my schooling in an independent study program. The decision to drop out was one of the best decisions I have made because I was able to graduate a year early and did so with a pretty awesome GPA.
This is from Katie. I love the stamps and the letters she used for my name! Thanks Katie!
Postcard from Judith on Sendsomething. Thanks!
All three Colorado postcards are for the Places/Locations Swap on Swap-bot (Colorado is my favorite state)
PostcrossingOutgoing mail has been pretty shitty lately... haven't been in much of a mood to create. Bobby and I have gotten into a pretty bad habit of staying up til at least 3 in the morning. I usually end up making mail late at night and I get tired of doing it after putting together 1 envelope. I was planning on doing some mail tonight but I don't think that is going to happen...
But! I have a new pen pal from my new favorite website, Going Postal. Pretty excited about that!
I'll leave you with some pictures I took with my Fujifilm Instax when we were on our road trip. Row-add.
