Mail Call

What a lovely week for incoming mail! I received a lot of nice postcards for the giveaway and some great letters. I received a letter from my cousin in Colorado, who I wrote to for LetterMo! That was really nice to get a reply from her, especially as she is busy with an almost 2 year old boy. My mom also sent me a nice card and some random photos.

The hand-painted airmail envelope was sent from Annie in Russia! What a beautiful envelope and the contents were even better. I'm not sure I can compete with her envelopes.

As anticipated, I haven't touched pen to paper to write a letter since Friday. I have been busy collaging envelopes though! I think I've made about 10 in the last two days while watching 11 movies (and one TV episode!) I think I am probably as obsessed with watching movies as I am with collaging envelopes. I have a nice system going.

I can't believe it is already Sunday. There are a lot of changes coming this year, unfortunately I can't discuss them on this blog right now but if I write you a letter, you'll be sure to hear about them! Do you have any exciting changes or goals for the upcoming months? One thing that I am definitely going to be doing is taking a letterpress course through AS220 in April. I'm so, so, so excited.

  1. So I am so *pretend* mad at you!! I got your letter about AS220, I did not know at all that they did letterpress classes. You know when that class is? It's the day after my brother's wedding. I was planning on signing up IMMEDIATELY!!! I AM SO MAD!!!

    1. Oh no! Super sucky. It seems that they do them quite often so hopefully you can sign up for one in the future?

    2. I am keeping my eye on the schedule and I have "liked" them on Facebook so I can stay in the loop. It would have been great to attend with someone I KNOW!!

    3. Yeah, it would've been the tits to attend it with you!

  2. Yay! I am glad my envelope has reached you safely!
Great mail you've got out there!
    Have a wonderful week :)

  3. You have some really gorgeous postcards there!
