Yesterday I decided to write a letter to Kathleen Hanna of Le Tigre fame. I'm fairly certain that she will not be the one to read it but, hey, maybe she will. This is my first time writing a celebrity as an adult (trust and believe I sent fan letters to JTT and Devon Sawa when I was in elementary school). It was a bit bizarre and I wasn't really sure what to write.
Kathleen Hanna is basically amazing. She is powerful and fun. As noted in my Sendsomething profile, she is my idol and I wish we could be best friends. In my letter I wrote about the first time I saw Le Tigre perform live. My favorite concert, a beautiful combination of the music and the way I felt during that time in my life.
Have you ever wrote a letter to someone famous? Why did you decided to write them and what did you write about?
I think Ralph Nader will be next on my list of famous people to write to, if I can find an address!
