January Mail Stats

January was a pretty slow mail month. I did get caught up on all of my replies to mail friends, which was nice. Being sick put me out of commission for almost two weeks!

I received quite a few pieces of mail from strangers. That seems to come and go in spurts but I appreciate it no matter what! I also received a lot of mail from folks who I used to write to regularly. It is nice to know they are okay and still want to be mail friends!

Out of the 12 letters I received, only one was sent internationally (from Australia!).

Out of the 15 letters I sent, four letters were sent outside of the United States.

Only one of the postcards I received was sent internationally (from Spain). The Spain postcard was from a Postcrossing swap.

Out of the 5 postcards I sent, 3 were sent out of the United States. All three postcards sent internationally were from Postcrossing swaps.

I am looking forward to February mail! I hope I will receive some nice letters from folks participating in LetterMo and I am looking forward to sending letters to strangers for LetterMo! Also, the first newsletter for the League of Extraordinary Penpals will be sent out tomorrow.
